To Sit Rather Than Slip In
Vox Populi, Philadelphia PA

A female protagonist has designed all the essential aspects of her life- minimal prototypes with subtly suggested uses in the realms of spirituality, sexuality, self-reflection and beauty. The circle re-appears throughout the exhibition, a reminder of the self and the universe in various states of wholeness, balance, and understanding.

Some Sense of Comfort With Some Sense of Confusion was an event in conjunction with the exhibition. Part 1: A guided meditation and lecture on The Wisdom of Achieving Nothing by Michael Carroll, Part 1.5: A surprise transformational performance by the hostess, Erica Prince, and Part 2: A reading and re-imagining of Anaïs Nin’s Delta of Venus by Melissa Daum.
