Erica Prince makes collaged drawings that explore the implications of distinct design decisions within interior spaces. By arranging furniture, “art”, clutter, and décor, Prince creates environments of indulgence, frivolity, and dramatic potential. Her open-air architectural spaces depict extreme, and often questionable architectural possibilities of the future. These spaces are unpeopled, yet distinctly evocative of the characters that might inhabit them. Prince received a BFA in printmaking from The Maryland Institute College of Art.
